Jon Jones, Daniel Cormier fight at press conference (Video)

Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier have talked a ton of trash in advance of their Sept. 27 fight, and tempers finally boiled over during their scheduled press conference at the MGM Grand on Monday. Jones and Cormier were standing toe-to-toe on stage (standard stuff) when things turned ugly in a hurry.

Cormier started the scrum when he shoved Jones. The light heavyweight champion didn’t appear to say anything to the challenger, though he probably didn’t have after he called Cormier “fresh meat” over Twitter a few weeks ago. Jones responded to the shove by throwing a swing at Cormier and the two men tore the backdrop down while rumbling.

Jones and Cormier have been going at it on Twitter for weeks, which is unusual for Jonny Bones. He’s typically quiet leading up to fights, but he continued the smack talk after Monday’s brawl.

Come on DC where was your takedown defense?

— Jon Bones Jones (@JonnyBones) August 4, 2014

"@JonnyBones: Come on DC where was your takedown defense?" I got some td def for you. Don't ever put ur dirty face on me again.

— Daniel Cormier (@dc_mma) August 4, 2014

I won't let another man get in my face and put his forehead against mine. I will react every time. @JonnyBones next time I will slap you.

— Daniel Cormier (@dc_mma) August 4, 2014

I put you on your back in six seconds

— Jon Bones Jones (@JonnyBones) August 4, 2014

Put some ice on that face DC, you got lots of interviews tomorrow

— Jon Bones Jones (@JonnyBones) August 4, 2014

Lol those baby punches from the bottom, I really hope you have more prepared than that for when I take you down again

— Jon Bones Jones (@JonnyBones) August 4, 2014

If the buildup is any indication, this should be a phenomenal fight.
