Kimbo Slice signing with Bellator MMA
Kevin Ferguson, better known to most as Kimbo Slice, is returning to the Octagon.
According to CombatPress.com, Ferguson has signed a contract with Bellator MMA and an announcement is expected to come during the Bellator 132 broadcast on Friday night.
The news was confirmed by MMAjunkie.
Kimbo first became known for a series of street fights that became popular on YouTube several years ago. He later made his MMA debut with EliteXC — which is no longer in business — and was eventually signed by the UFC. He was later cut by Dana White after embarrassing himself.
Ferguson, now 40, then turned his attention to professional boxing, where he compiled a record of 7-0 and brought us a few entertaining knockouts. Even if he gets his you-know-what kicked again, Kimbo is sure to create some buzz for Bellator and will likely draw plenty of viewers.
