Many fighters refuse to have sex leading up to fights believing that it will make them angrier and therefore tougher in the ring. Manny Pacquiao says he doesn’t have sex for three weeks leading up to his bouts. Several other notable fighters claim they abstain. Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey does not.
“It’s actually the opposite for women; if you have sex it raises your testosterone,” she explained during an interview with Conan O’Brien. “So it kind of sucks that I don’t have a boyfriend right now, but I’m sure my Twitter’s blowing up with offers.”
Glad to know the woman who is so concerned with making sure her little sister has an excellent role model has no problem telling the world that she loves to bang before bouts.
