The sign used by Chloe Kim’s father to cheer on his daughter at the Olympics endeared him to fans.
Kim’s dad, Jong Jin, was seen holding up a sign that said “Go Chloe!” on it while he was watching the 17-year-old compete in the women’s halfpipe at the Winter Olympics.
The sign was completely homemade and looked exactly like one some friends would bring to a high school game. But there was Jong Jin holding it up while his daughter competed on the biggest possible stage. Fans absolutely loved it.
You wanna make me cry? Show me this picture of Chloe Kim's dad right before she hits the half-pipe. Yea, that'll do it. pic.twitter.com/IilYKUz8xr

Jong Jin moved to the U.S. from South Korea in 1982. He taught his daughter how to snowboard when she was four years old. No word if she got her awesome sense of humor from him.
