Stray bullet finds its way into Rio media tent at equestrian center
Things continue to go exceptionally well at Rio, if you disregard the stray bullets making their way into media tents.
For reasons that remain unclear, a bullet landed in the media tent near the equestrian center in Rio on Saturday. No one was injured, but it still provided for a rather unsettling visual.

The bullet came through the roof, as seen in this image.

The explanation being floated around was that it was a stray military bullet from a nearby base.
AP confirmed that a military bullet entered the equestrian venue by noon. Rumor is accidental discharge of a rifle from the base.

Between this and the errant couch, things are off to an inauspicious start in Rio. Here’s hoping things get better.
