Alex Morgan issues apology for getting kicked out of Disney World
Alex Morgan was one of a group of four people who were issued citations and kicked out of a Disney World theme park over the weekend, and the US women’s soccer star has since issued an apology.
On Wednesday morning, Morgan vowed to learn from her mistake and not put herself in a similar situation in the future.
I want to apologize for my actions that occurred over the weekend. I will learn from this make sure it does not happen again. #liveandlearn

Police say Morgan and a group of friends — including several other pro soccer players — were intoxicated and causing a scene at the “United Kingdom” area of the Epcot Center theme park. Morgan and three other people were escorted off the premises, and the 28-year-old was said to be “highly impaired” and spewing nonsense about the SWAT team.
Two MLS soccer players, Giles Barnes and Danny Toia, were also forced to leave. Morgan’s husband is also a fellow soccer star, but he was not issued a citation and it’s unclear if he was with the group at the time of the incident.
