That includes trying to keep Cristiano Ronaldo awake with noise outside his hotel room. Judging by the fact that Ronaldo made a brief appearance and politely asked them to keep it down, it appears to be working.

Messing with athletes at the team hotel to try to throw them off their game isn’t a particularly uncommon tactic. Of course, given Ronaldo’s competitive spirit, this might just fuel him even more to get the result he needs on Monday.
