Luke Gregerson works out with the troops (Video)
The US will make its World Baseball Classic debut Friday evening at Chase Field in Arizona, and what better way to get you prepped for the game than by sharing a video of one of the Team USA players working out with some of the country’s troops?
As we told you last month, FOX Sports recently led some former MLB greats and current MLB players on a goodwill trip to U.S. Army Garrison Grafenwoehr in Germany. San Diego Padres reliever Luke Gregerson, who posted a 2.39 ERA last season, was one of the players on the trip. In the video above, you can see him doing some morning physical training with the troops in what appears to be extremely cold conditions.
Gregerson is one of the relievers on Team USA, and he helps give the country what should be one of the strongest bullpens in the tournament.
