Ryan Newman is looking to keep himself in the Chase for the Sprint Cup at the AdvoCare 500 at Phoenix International Raceway this Sunday. With only two races remaining, Rocketman will likely need very strong finishes and some help from his fellow drivers to get near the top of the standings.
Newman has raced to three top-10 finishes in his last four races. He finished 9th at the AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway last weekend and raced to back-to-back top-10 finishes at Charlotte on Oct. 10 and Talladega on Oct. 20. Rocketman finished fifth at last year’s Advocare 500 after starting 12th, so the track has been kind to him in the past. His second win of the season would really make things interesting in the Chase, where he is currently ranked 12th and 118 points behind leader Jimmie Johnson.
Newman has partnered with Oral-B to promote the Built in the USA campaign. This Veterans Day weekend, at Driver Introduction at Sunday’s race, in honor of U.S. Veterans, Oral-B and Newman will present Robin Kelleher, President and CEO of Hope For The Warriors, with the $100,000Built in the USA check to support their Above & Beyond program, which assists U.S. service members’ reintegration into the workforce. Phoenix is the fourth and final stop on Oral-B’s Built in the USA tour, so be sure to stop by the Oral-B booth to pick up some products and join in the fun if you’re at the track this weekend. Or stop by Fry’s Marketplace in Goodyear on Saturday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for the opportunity to meet Newman and join the Built in the USA tour. Oral-B products are built in the USA, so start your day with the USA by using an Oral-B® Pro Health® All-in-One manual toothbrush.
