Steve Bartman is a name that will live in infamy for a long time.
As we reminded you yesterday, LBS will be posting some great moments from recent MLB postseason history to get you pumped up for the MLB playoffs. FOX Sports will be televising much of the playoffs and this is a friendly reminder that the NLDS will be televised on FOX Sports 1. You can see the full MLB playoff TV schedule here.
The Bartman incident is one of those things that will go down in the history of the Chicago Cubs until they finally win another World Series. It doesn’t matter that every other fan in the area was also going for the ball. It doesn’t matter that he wasn’t the guy who gave up hits to Pudge, Derek Lee, Mike Mordecai or Juan Pierre. It doesn’t matter that he didn’t make an error at shortstop on a Miguel Cabrera ground ball. All that matters it that Cubs fans forever will blame him for losing Game 6 of the 2003 NLCS.
