Andy Murray and girlfriend Kim Sears get engaged
Roger Federer is married with two sets of twins, Novak Djokovic is married with a son, and now Andy Murray is finally catching up.
Murray, 27, proposed to longtime girlfriend Kim Sears last week and she said yes. The two are now engaged in a move that has long been anticipated.
Murray and Sears have been dating since 2005, when Andy met Kim at the US Open. Kim’s father, Nigel, was a tennis official, which is what she was doing around the sport.
Though Kim often travels to be with Andy at his matches around the world, she also went to college and has a life outside him as an artist. The two even split briefly in 2010, but they reconciled and all seems to be great again.
Just remember that when it comes to Murray, he has publicly stated he approves of pre-match sex. It’s easy to see why.
