Caroline Wozniacki made it very difficult to have a “long hair, don’t care” outlook on Wednesday when her tennis racket got stuck in her hair during her match against Alaiksandra Sasnovich.
Wozniacki missed a return when her hair got tangled in the racket as she was going for a backhand. Despite losing the point, she beat Sasnovich 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the third round of the US Open.
Since Woz won, we can all laugh about the unfortunate and unlikely turn of events. Imagine if her own hair caused her to lose a match? Now that would have been a story.
