Kevin Anderson wife Kelsey is also his accountant

Wives and girlfriends often play big roles in the lives of their professional athlete significant others, but few play as big of a role as Kelsey Anderson.

Kelsey met Kevin when they were both at the University of Illinois. Kelsey played golf in college, while Kevin played tennis for the Illini. The two got married in 2011, and Kelsey, who is a CPA, now serves as Kevin’s accountant on tour. That’s a big help as she manages his finances and books all their travel, which is a big deal considering how much pro tennis players are on the move.

Kelsey is therefore on tour with husband Kevin as he travels around the world, which keeps her extremely busy. That also means she is in his corner supporting him during his matches just like she has been at the US Open, where he reached the semifinals — a career-best mark at a major.

Oh, and Kelsey also keeps her golf game strong.
