In June, Serena was forced to withdraw from her scheduled doubles match with Venus at Wimbledon due to knee issues. However, Serena played in the US Open on Tuesday alongside Carlos Alcaraz in the mixed doubles.
They won their first match before being knocked out by Belinda Bencic and Flavio Cobolli.
Now, Venus and Serena will take the court together once again. In their careers, the Williams sisters have played in doubles at the US Open nine times, with the most recent in 2022.
The Williams sisters have a 27-7 record at the tournament, including winning the title in 1999 and 2009.
Venus Williams is 46 years old and Serena Williams is 44, but the sisters should still be fun to watch during the US Open.
The Williams sisters won’t find out their draw until they are all revealed on September 1.
