I never really noticed or thought of the resemblance between Kyle Orton and Uncle Rico, but once it was pointed out to me, I knew this had to be an immediate addition to our “Totally Looks Like” category on the website.
The resemblance between Orton and Uncle Rico is uncanny. They’re both quarterbacks, they both have thin mustaches, they both like something around their foreheads but not covering their entire heads like a cap, and they both sure are gunslingers. I mean they’re practically the same person.
They even have the same deep comb-over hairstyle:

If I didn’t know any better, I’d say that Uncle Rico even inspired Kyle Orton’s current look. I mean Uncle Rico did wear it first, if you want to get technical. “Napoleon Dynamite” came out in 2004. Kyle Orton didn’t enter the league until 2005.
And if ever there were a reason to shave off the neckbeard, completing the Uncle Rico look was definitely it.
