Seth Rollins knee injury – WWE champ out 6-9 months with torn ACL (Video)
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins suffered a serious knee injury during an event in Ireland Thursday night, and he is expected to be out for several months.
Jonathan Coachman of ESPN reports that Rollins suffered a torn ACL and MCL during a match against Kane. Rollins’ knee appeared to buckle awkwardly underneath him as he was attempting to pull Kane off the corner turnbuckle.

Rollins continued to hobble around afterword and somehow was able to finish the match, defeating Kane after powerbombing him through a table.

It quickly became clear that the injury was serious when he needed help returning to the locker room. The WWE is planning to hold a tournament at Survivor Series to crown a new champion during Rollins’ lengthy absence.
