Sexual text messages from Vince McMahon lawsuit released
A former WWE employee has filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, and the filing includes some shockingly explicit text messages.
Janel Grant, who began working at WWE headquarters in the legal department back in 2019, is suing the 78-year-old McMahon over alleged missed hush money payments.
According to Grant’s lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut on Thursday, McMahon pressured Grant into having sex with her and promised her a job at WWE. After she began working at the company, Grant says she became McMahon’s sexual toy and that he and others, including WWE employee John Laurinaitis, had unwanted sex with her at times, including threesomes. In return, Grant says she was given assurances that her job would be protected, a luxury car, clothes, jewelry, thousands of dollars in gift cards, tickets to events, and money to cover surgery and other medical care.
The lawsuit includes screenshots of text messages that McMahon allegedly sent to Grant while she was working at WWE. In the texts, McMahon describes some of his sexual fantasies in graphic detail. McMahon also appeared to discuss a schedule in which he and others would engage in sex acts with Grant. You can read some of the text messages here.
In 2022, McMahon stepped away from running WWE after a Wall Street Journal report said that the wrestling boss was being investigated by WWE for signing a $3 million non-disclosure agreement with Grant. The new lawsuit says McMahon made a $1 million payment to Grant but did not make payments thereafter because he thought she had leaked information to the media.
