Undertaker reportedly suffered concussion, neck sprain at WrestleMania

Undertaker Wrestlemania

While we don’t believe that Brock Lesnar went off script at WrestleMania 30 Sunday when he beat The Undertaker and handed the giant his first loss at the huge event, the reports saying that Taker suffered a concussion and neck sprain during the match appear to be legitimate.

WrestleChat first posted about the rumor, which they picked up off a posting on a Reddit thread. Here’s what the Reddit user posted:

My dad works for WWE. He’s at WrestleMania right now. He said an ambulance just showed up to take the Undertaker to the hospital and Vince and Brock went with him. It sounds serious :(

Hacksaw Jim Duggan also tweeted about Taker possibly being hurt:

On top of that, someone on Twitter also said that their mother transported Undertaker and Brock’s manager Paul Heyman to the hospital.

Matt Boone at EWrestlingNews says he confirmed that Undertaker was taken to the hospital after the match, though he was unable to confirm reports of a possible concussion/neck sprain.

No, it doesn’t look like Lesnar beat Undertaker when he wasn’t supposed to, but he may have given Taker an injury during the match. It could have been on a single leg takedown when he got hurt.

Maybe Undertaker agreed to lose because his body can’t handle the wrestling anymore. At least that was the speculation from our wrestling insider Arsen D.
