Triple H sent Royals custom WWE championship belt
The Royals capped off their season by winning the World Series for the first time in 30 years by defeating the Mets in five games.
Along with the Commissioner’s Trophy comes the spoils that go with capturing a title, like a victory parade, which will take place in Kansas City on Tuesday. The team will also receive a gift from wrestler Triple H.
The WWE star is sending the Royals the above pictured championship belt. He posted the photo to his Twitter account and said, “Congrats to the 2015 @MLB World Series Champions the Kansas City @Royals! #HeadedYourWay #DontGetChampagneOnTheTitle”
Kansas City is a well deserving champion and gained many fans throughout the playoffs thanks to a resilient and relentless style of play. It led to FOX’s Joe Buck saying the Royals may be the “best team he’s covered” since he started calling World Series games.
That is, of course, up for debate. However, one thing can’t be disputed. The Royals are the champs, and have a belt to prove it.
