Anthony Davis offended Warriors thought it was a ‘scrimmage’ (Video)
Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans were offended by some comments they heard the Warriors made about Tuesday night’s game, and they came out to prove a point.
Word spread that Golden State, which has a huge lead in the Western Conference, was viewing their game with New Orleans as a “scrimmage.”
Fyi, my ball boy contact told me that many Warrior players are calling tonight's game a scrimmage.

That circulated and got back to Davis and his teammates, who played with a vengeance. Davis scored 23 of his 29 points in the second half and helped the Pelicans overcome a 12 point halftime deficit and win the game.
Even if Davis was fueled by Golden State’s supposed words, the Warriors sure didn’t play like they were treating the game as a scrimmage. If they were, they probably wouldn’t have been up at the half, and they probably wouldn’t have been winning late. Credit to New Orleans for playing hard and pulling it out.
