Joel Embiid roasts himself over missed shot in playoffs
Nobody is safe from Joel Embiid’s Twitter trolling — not even Joel Embiid.
The Philadelphia 76ers center posted a hilarious tweet on Sunday poking fun at himself. Embiid is overseas this week for the NBA Africa Game and was photographed transporting some bricks as part of a community service effort. The All-Star big man posted the picture along with a caption saying that he was laying out the bricks so he wouldn’t miss game-tying shots in the playoffs.

It’s a savage reference to Game 5 of this year’s Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Boston Celtics when Embiid missed a bunny with 15 seconds left that would’ve tied the game. The Sixers ended up losing and were eliminated.
The 24-year-old Embiid is usually known for giving it to his opponents on social media, but this proves that he can take it as well as he dishes it out.
