Kobe Bryant says Andrew Bynum has a ‘f*** it’ attitude

Andrew Bynum has somewhat of a bizarre attitude. That’s putting it nicely, because most people think it stinks. He has battled injuries for much of his young career, but there are a lot of people around the NBA who believe Bynum will never fulfill his potential because he lacks a winner’s mentality.  He seems to kind of let things roll right off his back, which can be beneficial around this time of year. As Kobe Bryant mentioned earlier this week, Bynum is able to deal with trade rumors because of it.

“Yeah, yeah. He’s got kind of this f*** it attitude, you know what I mean?” Kobe said when asked if Bynum can ignore the trade rumors, according to Pro Basketball Talk. “Which is great, it’s one of the things that makes him a great player. It won’t bother him at all…. Andrew is a big boy, he can handle it better than most.”

Every trade rumor that involves Dwight Howard includes Bynum on some level. Bynum already has made it clear that he would like to stay in L.A. but it won’t bother him if he has to play somewhere else, and to a certain extent that is the way professional athletes have to look at things. Lamar Odom got a little too attached to L.A. and we all know how that turned out last season. The problem with Bynum is he sometimes doesn’t seem to care about anything, as evidenced by moments like this one. If he could somehow learn to channel his “f*** it” attitude a little more effectively, the Lakers’ center could be one of the biggest forces in the West.
