Barring something unforeseen, the Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly poised to make Duke’s Brandon Ingram the second overall pick in Thursday night’s NBA Draft.
ESPN’s Chad Ford and Ramona Shelburne reported Wednesday that only a “blockbuster” trade offer would dissuade the Lakers from making the selection.

This doesn’t come as much of a surprise. In fact, some in the NBA feel Ingram should be going first overall.
With Ben Simmons looking set to go No. 1, all eyes now move to the third pick held by Boston. There is reportedly a lot that could happen at that spot, so the intrigue will really begin there.
