The Miami Heat held their annual championship ring ceremony on Tuesday night before running circles around the Chicago Bulls for their first win over the 2013-2014 NBA season. The Heat raised yet another championship banner and David Stern presented them with massive diamond-filled rings for the second time in two seasons.
The jewelry looked very similar to the rings the Heat received last year at this time. Naturally, there was another Larry O’Brien Trophy added to the design with a massive diamond representing what would normally be the basketball. You can see Miami’s 2012-2013 championship rings here for comparison.

To get a better feel for the size, let’s remember how big LeBron James’ hands are. They didn’t look all that big when he was holding up his new piece of hardware.
The Heat players also wore special jackets and jerseys during the ceremony and game itself. Something tells me this isn’t the last time LeBron and company will be adding to their championship memorabilia collections.
