Milwaukee Bucks fans put up billboard telling team to tank

Next year’s NBA draft class is expected to be one of the most loaded in years, headlined by freshman superstars Jabari Parker and Andrew Wiggins. As a result, fans of lousy teams are already thinking about ping-pong balls. The Milwaukee Bucks are one of those teams, and a group of their fans has decided to take things to the next level.

On Thursday, the billboard you see above went up along I-43 in Milwaukee. It was paid for by the folks at SaveOurBucks.com, who are holding an official launch party for the billboard next week. Basically, the people of SaveOurBucks.com want the team to stop trying to win by acquiring a veteran here and there and just commit to losing.

Good news, Bucks fans — your team is currently 5-20 and has the worst record in the NBA. It’s looking like a legitimate possibility that Milwaukee will get the most ping-pong balls in next year’s lottery. Wiggins or Parker could very well be in your future. The billboard was probably a bit much.
