Because he recorded it and shared it on social media, D’Angelo Russell is ultimately responsible for the infamous video of Nick Young that leaked. But we highly doubt Russell would intentionally sabotage a teammate’s relationship with his fiancee. So who did?
Fameolous, the gossip website that first shared Russell’s video of Swaggy P admitting he cheated on Iggy Azalea, claims Nicki Minaj is responsible for it going viral.
“Iggy took a shot at Nicki Minaj and said other people write her raps for her,” an anonymous publisher for Fameolous told ESPN 97.5 in Houston on Wednesday. “The next day, Mr. Russell had the video on Snapchat. Nobody picked it up. Somebody from Nicki Minaj’s camp, a source, got the video and sent it in and said, ‘Here, put this out since Iggy wants to talk about Nicki Minaj. Let her know what her fiance is doing.’ That’s the real story behind this.”
The Fameolous writer claims no one picked up on Russell’s Snapchat video when it was first posted, and it wasn’t until Minaj’s camp got a hold of it that the you-know-what hit the fan.

Adding Nicki Minaj to the fold takes this to an entirely new level of absurd. Unfortunately, that doesn’t make it any less of a real issue in the Lakers’ locker room. Russell’s apology and Young’s response to it are evidence of that.
