The Miami Heat handled the Milwaukee Bucks with ease in the opening round of the playoffs, and they are now awaiting their next opponent. If the Brooklyn Nets are able to even their series against the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night, they could be waiting a while.
In the meantime, Shane Battier has decided to try out a new look. As you can see from the photo above that ESPN’s Tom Haberstroh passed along, Battier is rocking a fantastic mustache. It’s kind of a mix between a fu manchu and a handlebar stache, which makes it tough to label.
“I don’t know what to call this, to be honest with you,” Battier said when asked about it, according to Haberstroh.
Let’s just call it what it is — awesome. Does it rival Kevin Love’s amazing stache? Absolutely not, but with a little effort there’s no reason Battier can’t get there by the time the NBA Finals roll around.
