Steve Kerr has hilarious comment about his fight with Michael Jordan
The situation surrounding the verbal altercation between Draymond Green and Kevin Durant blew up on Tuesday with the Golden State Warriors suspending Green a game for conduct detrimental to the team. Though the situation between the players is not pretty, it could be a lot worse.
Back in 1995, current Warriors head coach Steve Kerr got into a training camp fight with Michael Jordan when the two were teammates on the Chicago Bulls. Kerr was asked whether his experience in a similar situation would help him with handling these types of situations, and he offered a funny line.
Steve Kerr asked whether his famous fight with MJ informs him about the delicacies in situations like this, adds at the end of his answer: "…By the way, I kicked MJ's ass."

Kerr got a couple of shots in on MJ but still ended up with a black eye.

Things worked out well for Chicago in the end. They won three straight NBA titles after that fight, with Kerr becoming a trusted teammate of Jordan after proving his toughness to MJ. Perhaps Golden State will put the incident behind them and go on to win their third straight championship. It’s not as if they haven’t dealt with drama in the past, either.
