Steve Kerr scoffs at notion Stephen Curry should be less aggressive

Steve Kerr

Beyond his three-point shooting, Stephen Curry is known for his ability to drive the lane and attack the basket. After another knee injury, though, there are some that want to see Curry take fewer risks in his play.

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr is not one of them.

Kerr thinks the 30-year-old guard is still very much in his prime, and there’s no need for him to adjust his style of play based on injury.

“You want him to become me, like a spot-up shooter that shoots four times a game?” Kerr joked, via Mark Medina of Bay Area News Group. “Maybe when he’s 40. When you think about last night’s injury, it had nothing to do with being in the paint.”

The good news is that Curry’s injury isn’t major. The bad news is that it could keep him out for part of the playoffs, but you can bet he’s not going to change the way he does things once he’s healthy.
