Floyd Mayweather’s ex-girlfriend Josie Harris blasts Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor knows no boundaries when it comes to taking shots at Floyd Mayweather Jr, and the mother of Floyd’s children doesn’t appreciate being dragged into the pre-fight circus.

Last weekend, McGregor got creative with his trolling of Mayweather when he was spotted strutting around in a throwback Golden State Warriors C.J. Watson jersey. McGregor must have done some research, as Mayweather’s ex-girlfriend Josie Harris revealed years ago that Floyd assaulted her after the boxer discovered text messages that were exchanged between Harris and Watson.

Harris, who has three children with Mayweather, released a statement to TMZ through her attorney ripping McGregor for being insensitive about domestic violence.

“[The stunt] demonstrates not only an insensitivity toward the emotional wellbeing and privacy of the victim of Mayweather’s dom. violence, but also a general disregard for the physical and emotional trauma and long-lasting psychological impacts suffered by victims of dom. abuse,” Dan Friedlander, Harris’ attorney, wrote.

“On behalf of Josie Harris, her and Mayweather’s three children, and all victims of domestic violence, we ask that Conor McGregor refrain from capitalizing off of the trauma suffered by her and other victims of domestic abuse.”

McGregor’s top objective is building anticipation for his Aug. 26 fight against Mayweather. He already proudly stated why he was wearing the Warriors jersey when Draymond Green called him out, so we doubt he’ll apologize to Harris or anyone else.
