Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Ronda Rousey will never fight each other, which is probably for the best. For starters, one is a male and the other is a female. They also compete in very different sports, so someone would probably get hurt. But don’t worry, Mayweather has no idea who Rousey is, anyway.
On Tuesday, USA Today’s Bob Velin jokingly asked Mayweather how he thinks Rousey would do in a fight against him.
“Actually, I don’t know who he is,” Mayweather said while shrugging.
If Floyd was messing around he did a great job of selling it. He legitimately looked confused, though it is hard to believe that anyone who fights for a living has not heard of the most popular female fighter in the UFC. Maybe that was just Mayweather’s way of fluffing off people like Joe Rogan who say Rousey could take him.
Either way, that reaction was pretty damn funny.
