Chad Knaus Drops F-Bomb at End of Coca Cola 600 (Video)

Jimmie Johnson’s crew chief Chad Knaus dropped an f-bomb on live TV at the end of the Coca Cola 600 Sunday. He was pissed off that the number 48 car had gone up in smoke with five laps left, and unfortunately the FOX production crew decided to let viewers hear the team on the radio at the exact wrong time. Here’s the video:

Johnson finished 28th after being towards the front of the pack most of the race, so at least all wasn’t lost. Plus, it could be worse — he could have been Dale Earnhardt Jr and run out of gas on the last lap.

THAT is to f**king funny!!  Heard it live, hysterical!!!  Wonder how big the fine is gonna be!!!

  • Scott Arnold

Huh? Junior coasted across the finish line and finished 7th, so it wouldn’t have been “worse” to be him.

Why should there be a fine? Fox are the ones who aired it. He can say whatever he wants over his radio.

Because Jimmie Johnson actually wins races. Jr. hasn’t in what, 100 races? His loss was more heartbreaking. It’s subjective.

What do you expect to happen when the TV coverage flips over to the radio as soon as an incident like that happens.  The problem was the lack of intellegence by the TV crew

  • http://larrybrownsports.com Larry Brown

Yes, that is part of the problem

They aren’t supposed to swear on the radio.

This was totally FOX’s fault. Why wasn’t the seven second delay used to
block the F-bomb?  I listen to the drivers scanners every week and it’s
not at all unusual to hear the word.  There is a disclaimer by NASCAR
every week that the use of a scanner is intended for individuals over
the age of 17.  It was FOX who decided to broadcast the radio
conversation.  Hope the FCC fines FOX.

Hey they fined Jr for saying s–t…sorry dont care whose fault it was but Knause should be fined..Jimmie needs to get rid of him anyway. Hes crooked how many times has he been on probation or not there because of illegal things HE did to the #48?? Hes an moron and thats putting it mildly.
