Christian Laettner only let girls hang out with him for five minutes (Video)
Christian Laettner was quite the ladies’ man while in college. He was so in demand that he even put a time limit on his female visitors.
Doug Collins related a great anecdote on the 30 for 30 “I Hate Christian Laettner” film about his son, Chris, who hung out with Laettner during a recruiting visit to the school. According to Doug, tons of women came up to Laettner on campus while Chris was hanging out with the Blue Devils star. Laettner apparently would let them hang out with him for a short time, then look at his watch and tell them, “Time for you girls to move on now, you’ve had your five minutes of Christian Laettner.”
Boss. Move.
Did we mention that Laettner made People’s list of 50 Most Beautiful People in the World back in 1992? Dude was like a 6-foot-11, ball-playing Jason Priestley.
