Former Baylor player indicted for sexual assault attends game, visits locker room
Baylor football continues to refuse to turn its back on its history of sexual assault.
Players confirmed that former defensive end Shawn Oakman, who has been indicted for sexual assault, both attended the team’s win over Rice and was also allowed in the locker room after the game, and was even allowed to address the team.

Baylor's Seth Russell declined to share what Oakman said in the locker room. Russell vouched for Oakman & said he's going through tough time

Coach Jim Grobe claimed he didn’t even know who Oakman was when asked about his presence.
Jim Grobe, when asked by @JessicaMorrey on Shawn Oakman going into the Baylor locker room after Rice game: I don't know who Shawn Oakman is

Former coach Art Briles was also there, but had the good sense to stay away from the locker room. There’s obviously nothing Baylor can do to stop Oakman from attending a game, but allowing him into the locker room sends an awful, unrepentant message.
