Cordell Broadus designing men’s underwear
Cordell Broadus, the son of rapper Snoop Dogg, quit the UCLA football team last month before ever playing a game with the Bruins. Broadus, a four-star wide receiver who chose UCLA over USC, gave up football to further his career in the film-making industry.
But first, Broadus is trying his hand at designing skivvies.
According to TMZ, Broadus has teamed up with underwear company PSD to design men’s underwear.
“He’s a creative guy who’s young and hungry. And he’s been wearing our stuff forever,” PSD founder Curt Flaitz told TMZ. “You know how there’s a cool kids table at lunch. We make our products for those people.”
Flaitz said he is hoping Cordell’s designs will help target a younger demographic. A number of celebrities and athletes, including Snoop, Marshawn Lynch and Kyrie Irving, are proud supporters of PSD underwear.
Now that Broadus no longer plays for UCLA, does this mean Snoop could bring back some of the old underwear he threw out? Perhaps his son would be kind enough to design him a few new pairs.
