Devante Peete punches, grabs Sam Moeller (Video)
Louisville’s Devante Peete got away with some unsportsmanlike conduct during the third quarter of the Music City Bowl on Wednesday when he punched and grabbed the face mask of Texas A&M’s Sam Moeller.
The Cardinals were covering a kickoff following a touchdown to make it 27-14. Peete and Moeller got into it, but things seemed pretty one-sided. The camera showed Peete grabbing Moeller’s face mask and then smacking him in the helmet.
Oddly enough, Peete escaped without punishment. Perhaps the referees missed everything which is why he didn’t receive a penalty.
