Jim Harbaugh thinks Rams rumors were made up by ‘enemies’
Jim Harbaugh is one serious dude who is wired in some really funny ways.
After Jeff Fisher was fired on Monday by the Los Angeles Rams, some in the media started suggesting that Harbaugh could be a candidate for them to hire. After all, Harbaugh has proven he can be extremely successful at the NFL level, so if you’re a broken team in need of a fix, he’s a guy to go after. That’s why you can bet his name will continue to come up any time there are NFL openings.
Well, Harbaugh’s trying to build a program at Michigan, so he doesn’t appreciate when people speculate about him leaving. See, that makes it harder to recruit, and Harbaugh doesn’t like it. Check out what he said Tuesday about the Rams talk.
“A lot of this talk is coming from our enemies,” Harbaugh said at the team’s banquet. “They like to tell that to the recruits and to their families and try to manipulate them into going to some other school besides Michigan, but we know them as jive turkeys.”
“Jive turkeys.” Man, Harbaugh really is the best. And he’s not having any of this jive turkey nonsense!
