Ohio State LB Dante Booker not transferring despite report
Linebacker Dante Booker does not appear to be likely to transfer from Ohio State despite what was previously reported.
Alex Gleitman of Ohio State’s 247 Sports site reported Friday morning that Booker was transferring from the program as a graduate transfer. However, he later retracted his report after being told that there is no change to Booker’s status.
Booker had 31 tackles — five for a loss — and an interception last season. He was limited to one game in 2016 due to a knee injury, which allowed him to receive an extra year of eligibility.
It now sounds like Booker will be back with the program as a fifth-year senior.
