Burrow is the hottest graduate transfer on the market.
The former Ohio State quarterback announced on Tuesday that he was looking to transfer. He began his career with the Buckeyes in 2015 and redshirted that season, then served as the backup in 2016, and he was third-string last season after breaking his hand. He fell behind Dwayne Haskins on the depth chart and decided to transfer in order to get some playing time.
Burrow is 29-39 (74.4 percent) for 287 yards and two touchdowns in his career. LSU and Cincinnati were the schools to immediately get clearance to contact him. Justin McMillan, Myles Brennan and Lowell Narcisse are the three quarterbacks competing for the Tigers’ job.
