South Carolina WR Terry Googer taken to hospital for evaluation

South Carolina wide receiver Terry Googer was carted off the field during Saturday’s game against Texas A&M after suffering an injury in the first quarter.

The junior was injured during a special teams play early. The nature of the injury was not shared publicly, but it was severe enough for Googer to be placed on a stretcher and taken out of the stadium at Kyle Field.

Googer did give a thumbs up as he was carted away:

Googer was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation, according to SEC Network.
