Mark Fletcher threw a punch at Tyrique Tucker after Miami’s 27-21 loss to the Indiana Hoosiers in the College Football Playoff national championship game at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., on Monday night.
Fletcher rushed for 122 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Hurricanes, and was one of the stars of the team’s offense. But he was upset with Tucker and threw a punch at him during a postgame altercation.

The conflict between the two players may have been attributed to an incident during the second quarter after Fletcher had been tackled.

Regardless of the genesis of their issues, it reflects poorly upon Fletcher that he went after Tucker after losing the championship game. It comes across as sour grapes.
Tucker did share a message on social media after the game that was intended for Fletcher. He taunted him about the loss by saying “hold that L.”
🤡HOLD THAT L RING US🤣 https://t.co/YdTXDMoLQX
