Texas football has urine color charts in bathroom to encourage hydration
More and more we’re seeing sports teams emphasizing hydration among its players, and they’re all using creative methods for spreading those messages. The Texas Longhorns are even making it a personal matter.
Orange Bloods reporter Anwar Richardson went to the restroom at the athletic center on the Texas campus Tuesday and shared this photo he encountered:
Went to take a leak in Moncrief and this was hanging above the toilet. Tom Herman's attention to detail is real pic.twitter.com/FoAMbkf56K

You got that? If your urine isn’t the proper color, then you are a selfish player!
New coach Tom Herman was extremely successful at Houston, so we’re not about to question him if this is part of his formula for success, which it sounds like it is.
Tom Herman on urine chart: "We actually have a urine test everyday. We actually read off who is hydrated & who isnt. Today was 1st day 100%"

"being hydrated here isn't something silly because it is serious for injury prevention."

Between this and what we saw from the Giants, it’s clear teams are taking their hydration very seriously.
