Did anyone enjoy Kelvin Benjamin’s catch against the Seattle Seahawks Sunday more than the Carolina Panthers’ Spanish radio team?
Josh Coley of WSC happened to get into the Spanish radio booth prior to the big pass play in the game and was recording when the magical moment happened. The game was tied 6-6 midway through the fourth quarter when Cam Newton bombed one down the middle of the field. Benjamin, the team’s first-round draft pick, made the catch over Earl Thomas and Richard Sherman on a key 3rd-and-11.
The catch helped set up a field goal for Carolina, giving them a 9-6 lead. Unfortunately the defense allowed a touchdown on the ensuing possession and the team lost 13-9, but at that moment things looked great.
