Chris Simms defends Patriots against cheating allegations
The New England Patriots continue to face allegations of cheating, but at least one NFL analyst has their back.
CBS Sports commentator Chris Simms gave an impassioned defense of the Patriots on CBS Sports Net’s “That Other Pregame Show” Sunday. Keep in mind that Simms spent a year as a coach for the Patriots in 2012, but these comments are music to the ears of Patriots fans:

The Patriots re-stoked talks about their questionable ethics because of the Deflategate scandal, but things spiraled out of control from there. SI had an article over the summer that seemingly threw every single allegation ever against them, regardless of how accurate or legitimate they may have been. ESPN “Outside the Lines” also had an article that accused the Pariots of trying to stealing play sheets from locker rooms.
Then in the first game of the season, the Steelers complained about headset issues in Foxboro. The suspicions from losing teams continued as the Jets last week complained to the NFL and had the locker room swept for possible bugs.
At some point enough is enough and people/teams are just complaining because they’re sore losers who can’t beat the Patriots. The Pats are just simply a great franchise, though we acknowledge they do like to do whatever they can to gain edges, even venturing into unethical territories. Like our Steve DelVecchio said, the Pats have just given opposing teams excuses for losing.
