Larry Fitzgerald returns to practice after MCL scare
Thankfully for the Arizona Cardinals, Larry Fitzgerald’s MCL scare appears to have been a false alarm.
According to a report by Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com, Fitzgerald returned to practice on Sunday after sitting out the team’s second preseason game against the San Diego Chargers on Friday.

Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians had said that the 32-year-old Fitzgerald was dealing with a slight MCL sprain that wasn’t believed to be serious, per Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
#AZCardinals coach Bruce Arians told reporters last night WR Larry Fitzgerald has a slight MCL sprain. He ran pre and post. Nothing serious

Fitzgerald, the nine-time Pro Bowler, is entering his 13th season in the NFL, so any potential knee troubles are cause for concern. Fortunately however, Fitzgerald appears to be fine and will look to build on an excellent 2015 campaign where he logged 109 catches for 1,215 yards and nine touchdowns.
