Rob Gronkowski, Matt Light danced shirtless on stage after Patriots’ loss (Pictures)

While some Patriots had suicidal thoughts after their Super Bowl loss, others danced shirtless on stage at a party to help change their spirits. Pictured above is tight end Rob Gronkowski dancing on stage with LMFAO at the Patriots’ postgame party. He wasn’t the only one getting topless — lineman Matt Light was shirtless too.

Some people have a problem with the guys partying after the loss. I understand where they’re coming from — how could players be in the mood to have fun after such a heartbreaking defeat? That is a reasonable concern, but I think the main focus for everyone should be one thing: why did they have their shirts off? Don’t they know that can only lead to ridicule?

UPDATE: We now have video of Gronk dancing

They made it to the Super Bowl!  Nothing wrong with that! Party ON!

This is why they lost.  The Patriots just treat it like it’s another day at the office, a giant ho hum, as if it were not deep within thier hearts to win.   On the other hand, the Giants, being with out as much talent, skill and muscle, demonstrated guts and heart all the way to the finish, thus winning.

they just got lucky bro if gronk’s ankle wasnt bad like it is then he wouldve made it to that last ball and won the game and you can’t fight that but when the ball came down there was still a second on the clock

Yo butthead – - without as much talent, muscle and skill – - – What game were you watching!~!!!  Eli has AT LEAST as much talen as BRADY; what running back on the Pats has the muscle of Brandon Jacobs, or what defensive lineman can match the muscle AND talent of Justin Tuck!!  Get over it – - the better TEAM won – - – AGAIN!!!!!

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/VDWA2IALCMPLDEXYHLNASJMCTQ Rube

If my Grandmother had wheels, she’d be a bicycle!!  “Gronk was NO WHERE NEAR the ball – no matter what angle you look at – - Deion Sanders wouldn’t have had the speed and leaping ability to catch that one before it hit the ground – - stop being a typical New England (Including Re Sucks) cry baby and get over it.  The NY GIANTS WON THE SUPER BOWL – beating New England – - AGAIN!!!

  • Terry Atkins

Yeah, gronk’s bum ankle made that dancing he did really look like he musta had a doctor right after the game with some mad skillz to put it all back right so he could cut a rug AFTER the game….it’s always good to have an excuse for LOSING to fall back on…just don’t break anything on the way down!  :)

  • Anonymous

Yo butthead – - “Eli has AT LEAST as much talen as Brady”?
I agree he is a great and underated QB but take a look at the records Brady has set and is going to set in the near future. He does not have as much talent.
Brady can not be blamed for last night

Put your shirt on Gronk.  Yeah this looks really bad, looks like they couldn’t care less they just lost the biggest games of their lives.  That’s a bad bad message to be sending your fans.

Gronkowski and Light have joined Jeff Garcia as gay men coming out of the closet.  Shows a lot of courage on their part.

Last 9 years only Pats, Steelers and Colts have made the Superbowl from the AFC. Eight different NFC teams have made the Superbowl with only the Giants repeating. Getting to the Superbowl is easy if you are in a cake conference.

Brady didn’t show such amazing talent in the last three games the Patriots played.  I really believe he was outclassed, at least in the last two games, including the Super Bowl.

THe Giants had the better team they  won.
Pats have a right to go out after the game.  they had a season 28 other teams wish they had…

you must be a little man…
hding behind a dead mans name
    then calling the Patriots Gay
typical NY fan  only thing worse that a gloating  NY   is a losing Philly fan
If the Pats were lucky enough to win.  NE fans would not gloat we would enjoy our win.and move on hoping  they figure out who to draft to make the team better  because the defense is like swiss cheese. and we still almost won

There are more gays in the New England area then in San Francisco. Of course anyone who calls it “Frisco” wouldn’t know that it is a normal city just like any other,  just nicer. My whole life living here I’ve hardly met any gay people.

And yeah, dancing like this after a Superbowl loss is heartless and I’ll root against these players from now on.

If Gronk’s ankle was so bad, why was he dancing up a storm?  The bottom line is the Giants were the better team on Sunday. Brady’s passes were not crisp. But I am tired of excuses…. bad ankle, dropped passes, refs called a safety. Just admit defeat.  Stop the crying and be professional. You were outplayed pure and simple.

people need to realize its just a game and not your life, there’s always next year to win a game. It’s a good thing they are out having fun instead of beating themselves up over a football game, there’s a winner and a loser in everygame, even football.

So Giants get to party after they win, what shud the Pats do? Go train? Hell no…rough year…time they relaxed. Dance, meet a woman…do all the things u cudn’t during the year. Injured ankle or not, enjoy ur free time cause Training Camp’s coming up.

  • Anonymous

Technically He said it through the apostle John…. so you are both right.

  • Anonymous

Butthead?  That’s a pretty clever retort Biff.  The Giants were, stats wise, over thier heads.  You can’t deny the numbers, but they certainly played with heart and wona game that was thiers to take.  I think it’s ok to blame Brady, since he is the leader of the team, but his problem is he doesn’t blame hmself…like his wife.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/SHTZRJ52XGPUP4ERTM4QES7K7E Stacia

Teams from the “cake conference” have won three in a row.

  • Anonymous

Sure, Brady can take alot of blame.  His passes were not very good during the game and Eli’s were. The Pats were lucky the game was as close as it was. Giant’s dominated the Pats the whole game. The Giant pressure kept Brady confused most of the time and his pass accuracy was effected.

  • Anonymous

    You Mean the Championship Conference.

  • Anonymous

And if your grandma had testicles she’d be your grandpa.  Would’a, could’a, should’a. The Pat’s were lucky the score was as close as it was.

  • Anonymous

The difference was the Giant Defense.  They had Brady shaken up the whole game.  His passes were just not very accurate.  I saw the clip on TV where Brady’s wife blamed the Receivers (with foul language).  WOW. She’s hot but not too bright.

  • Anonymous

I guess they shoulda just went home and killed themselves right?? No one writing nor posting about this article will ever play in a super bowl. I don’t understand the criticism.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/OVLDEYW652CQSEYMTNB3VBIOYQ JHenry

If you guys think Brady’s wife’s comment was an original thought I have some great swamp land to sell you.  I’m willing to bet that she just repeating what Brady has said to her sometime during their relationship/marriage regarding the patriots receivers.  Not hating just saying.

    Exactly!

Funny, because this is precisely why I LIKE the Patriots. Not only are we a classy team with classy fans, but instead of slamming their heads against the walls (which I know they likely did during and after the game), the guys are having a little fun after all the stresses and tears shed. This was a tough year for the Patriots as a franchise and pardon them for having a little fun. They deserve it, just as you deserve your misery for not being able to enjoy life. Enjoy the grouchy side, you obvious Giant’s fan

  • CoreyAnnette Goyer

So one cannot move on? i bet if giants fan saw players of the giants team doing this it would be ok. Im not a huge fan of either team but why sulk and wonder what if? People make such a big freakin deal out of things now a days so what if they went out for a good time. how much time is enough time from your view for them to sit in the corner crying?
