Tom Brady’s ankle injury termed ‘significant’
Tom Brady was a late addition to the New England Patriots’ injury report entering their game with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday because of an ankle injury. He was listed as questionable for the game, which means that he had a 50-50 chance of playing. Even though most people knew Brady would be playing, the questionable tag was still alarming.
On Sunday evening, CSN New England’s Tom E. Curran provided some insight on the injury:
According to two sources that spoke with Patriots Insider Tom E. Curran, the ankle injury that made Brady questionable to play in Sunday’s game with the Bills was significant and needed a lot of therapy to be ready by the time the Patriots kicked off in Buffalo.
Curran shares that Brady injured his ankle by rolling it on a lineman at practice on Friday.
Despite the injury, Brady had his best statistical game of the season. He went 27/37 for 361 yards and four touchdowns in the 37-22 win. The ankle probably isn’t close to 100-percent yet for Brady, but it’s nice for Pats fans to know that he can still have a strong game regardless.
