Tony Romo Announced Wife is Pregnant When Asked a Question by High Schooler
As you may have heard on Tuesday, Tony Romo and Candice Crawford are expecting a baby. What you may not know is the way in which the news was broken. Normally when athlete-celebrity couples are expecting, some gossip magazine will catch wind of it and spread the news like wildfire. In this case, Romo made the announcement himself while speaking at a high school in Texas.
According to My Fox Dallas-Fort Worth via Off the Bench, Romo was asked by a high schooler if he had any kids, to which he responded: “I got one on the way. My wife’s pregnant.” Crawford was actually sitting in the front row during the question-and-answer session, and it’s tough to tell if she was pleased with Tony for spilling the beans or ready to rip his head off. Obviously I can’t tell because I don’t know Candice, but to me that looks like an angry/embarrassed face. Perhaps it wasn’t the way she wanted to inform the public. Romo is a proud father-to-be, so you can’t blame him for taking the opportunity to share the news.
