The feds always are slow to indict. Unlike states and counties, they make sure their case is almost airtight before they seek the indictment. That is the origin of the expression "to make a federal case" out of something. I'm hoping that this is bad news for "Old Melonhead", I mean Barry Bonds. I think the indictment will be for tax evasion and perjury, with the former being easier to prove.
