Joe Fauria does great Cat Daddy dance after touchdown (GIF)

Joe Fauria cat daddyJoe Fauria has been one of the great finds for the Detroit Lions this season, and he came through with a huge play to give them the lead against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night.

The undrafted free agent out of UCLA caught a 14-yard touchdown pass with 2:21 left to put Detroit up 16-15 on Baltimore. It was Fauria’s 7th touchdown this season on only 12 catches, and he celebrated like he has after his other scores — with a sweet dance.

Joseph Fauria did ‘N Sync dance for Jimmy Fallon donation

Joseph-Fauria-N-Sync-danceDetroit Lions tight end Joseph Fauria made headlines over the weekend when he busted out an ‘N Sync touchdown dance. The rookie out of UCLA scored the go-ahead touchdown early in the second quarter and followed it up with the dance move from the former boy band’s “Bye, Bye, Bye” music video. As it turns out, he wasn’t only doing it for kicks.

A couple weeks back, Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake brought us a new skit they called the “Evolution of End Zone Dancing.” After it debuted, Fallon offered to donate $10,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in honor of the first NFL player to do the ‘N Sync dance during the game. On Tuesday night’s show, Fallon confirmed that he will be making the donation.

“We were going nuts,” Fallon said. “We all saw it on Twitter. We were going crazy.”

Former ‘N Sync member Joey Fatone also shouted out to Fauria after seeing the end zone dance.

The dance was funny enough in itself. The fact that Fauria did it to send $10,000 to a great cause makes it even better.
